Dave

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, David Armer developed an interest in nature photography at a young age.  Determined to develop a stronger connection with the natural world, he moved to West Glacier Montana in 1982.  His time in Montana soon lead a search for new experiences across the world, prompting his enlistment in the US Navy.

David spent 8 years traveling the earth as an aerial photographer, where he served three tours on the unforgiving shores of Antarctica.  After completing his service on the ice, David returned to Montana, where he reconnected with his love of wildlife photography in Glacier National Park.

Today, he shoots full time for the United States Air Force Academy, where he specializes in sports and special events.  His love and respect for the art of photography is evident in his images as he continues to travel the world in search of nature‚Äôs vast and enduring cycle of life.
